In Marysville, due to the air quality reaching unhealthy levels, outdoor activities for students including elementary school afternoon recess, outdoor PE for all grades, and outdoor after-school sports practices and events are canceled with the exception of the MPHS vs. Snohomish girls' soccer at Snohomish. Currently, the air quality levels in Snohomish have not reached unhealthy levels. The soccer game is currently planned as scheduled but this could change as the day progresses. MPHS Soccer Coaches will be kept informed if the status changes. For schools and after-school sports practices, activities may be held indoors where feasible.

The group trained in equity, diversity, and the arts in relation to Native American arts and culture, earning 13 STEM clock hours and 17 equity hours, with the potential for more with classroom mentorship! Dear Families and Staff, Earlier this afternoon, several of our schools and the district office received calls from community members regarding a social media post about an active shooter on 88th Street near the freeway. We have confirmed with the Marysville Police Department and the Washington State Patrol that the post was false information and a non-credible report. The Washington State Patrol will issue a brief statement via Twitter shortly. At no time were our schools in harm's way.
