We are moving forward in Step 3 of the Reconnect Plan by bringing more students back to campus for in-person learning in a hybrid model. Students in grades 2 and 3 will begin on Monday, March 8, 2021, and students in grades 4 and 5 will begin on Monday, March 22, 2021.
Students will attend school 4-days per week, Monday through Thursday in two separate groups. Group A will attend school in the morning (8:30 - 11:00 am) and group B will attend school in the afternoon (1:00 - 3:30 pm). Fridays are designated for remote learning, with a live morning check-in with their teacher.
Your child’s elementary school will notify you directly about their assignment, including which group they are in and their teacher assignment. If your child is a bus rider, you will be contacted with pick-up/drop-off times and locations.
The health and safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority. Processes for health and safety are established at each school and will be followed daily. These include:
Completion of the weekly health screening form.
Students and staff wearing a mask at all times with the exception of scheduled mask breaks.
Social distancing between students during drop off and pick up and in hallways and classrooms.
Hand washing and sanitizing.
Daily cleaning between student groups.
We look forward to seeing your child(ren) back in school! Thank you for your ongoing patience and support. We will continue to proceed through the steps of our Reconnect Plan as it is safe and healthy to do so.
If you have any questions about your child’s schedule or placement, please contact your child’s school directly. A list of schools and phone numbers are linked HERE.
