Dr. Deborah Rumbaugh, Superintendent, Interim
On March 17, 2025, the Marysville School District Board of Directors named Dr. Deborah Rumbaugh as Superintendent (interim) to lead the Marysville School District, replacing Dr. Dave Burgess, who served as interim since October 2024.
Dr. Rumbaugh was previously engaged as the consultant to guide the school closure process. She has extensive experience encompassing all facets of public education, including instruction and operational management. With over 20 years in the educational field, she has served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, executive director, and most recently, superintendent.
